Per Kirkeby
Per Kirkeby was born in 1938 in Copenhagen, where he lived and worked until his death in 2018. In 1962 he joined the Eksperimenterende Kunst-skole (Experimental Art School) in Copenhagen where he worked with painting, graphics, 8-mm film and happenings throughout the decade. Later he received his master’s degree in Guaternary Arctic Geology from the University of Copenhagen.

Group exhibitions include Nanjing University of the Arts, Jiangsu (2019); Stiftung Blickachsen, Germany (2018); Scandinavia House, New York (2018); Museum Jorn, Denmark (2015); Kunsthalle Emden, Germany (2014); Kunstmuseum Luzern, Switzerland (2013). He also participated in the 37th Venice biennale, 1976.
